This privacy policy sets out how MTa Learning Ltd uses and protects any information that you provide when using our website.

MTa Learning is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Where we ask for your personal or business information on this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy statement.

Why we gather contact data and what we use it for

On some of our web pages we ask you for certain types of information about yourself to understand your needs and provide you with the best service, and in particular for:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • Improving our products and services
  • Deciding on topics of interest to feature in our Knowledge Centre for you, or to help us organise information on our website in the most useful way for our visitors
  • Deciding where to focus our marketing efforts to help more people find out about the MTa materials and approach – to spread the passion about experiential learning

Where we have requested your email address we may use it to do the following, however every email has an ‘unsubscribe’ link which you can follow to be removed from our mailing list:

  • Keeping you up to date on relevant Learning & Development articles, studies and guides
  • Keeping you up to date on MTa products; whether case studies, new activities or product launches
  • Keeping you up to date on MTa events or services available
  • Announcing any company news or discounts

A note on GDPR

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), now applicable when processing data about anybody protected by EU law, dictates that we must only process personal data in line with the ‘lawfulness, fairness and transparency’ principle. MTa have always sought to be lawful, fair and transparent about our use of data.

Under the rules of GDPR, we have chosen not to disrupt our contacts by requesting they give consent for contact, as we already have gained their consent when originally collecting their data. Under the ‘legitimate interests’ clause of GDPR, we will continue to serve our contacts in the ways and for the purposes mentioned above (see section ‘Why we gather data and what we use it for’). Our legitimate interest, following guidance published by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), is to sell materials and services that will help individuals to deliver excellence in their role and improve their organisation’s performance.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use cookies

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please let us know as soon as possible; we will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Also, we may provide certain order, delivery and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws where necessary.
