Gatwick Airport benefit from flexible off-the-shelf team activities
“The activities appeal to their learning styles and the review sheets are really useful in helping them to consider how they can pragmatically use the learning.”
David Harrison, Learning and Development Manager, Gatwick Airport
David uses MTa Team Kit for team development activities, on team days and assessment centres at Gatwick Airport. He likes the flexibility it provides and finds the facilitator guides really useful.
Why did you buy the MTa Team Kits?
We bought them because there looked to be a flexible range of materials, I was originally impressed with the supporting facilitator guides and the icebreaker activities looked really useful from the outset too.
What do you use your MTa Team Kits for?
We’ve used some of the core activities on team days, some of the ice breaker activities as part of a broader development day and we’ve also used some of the activities on recruitment assessment centres, in a high volume recruitment drive and to assess communication and teamwork skills.
What do your participants think of the MTa Team Kit?
As an operational business, with many of our people used to working in a busy, pacy operational environment, the experiential nature of the activities really engages them. The activities appeal to their learning styles and the facilitator guides are really useful in helping them to consider how they can pragmatically use the learning.
What would you say to someone who’s thinking of buying the MTa Team Kit?
I’d recommend it for the level of flexibility it provides. We’ve made really good use out of it – for team activities, team days, assessment and recruitment activities. For the flexibility and experiential types of learning it provides, I’d totally recommend it.
